"BEST THING'S ABOUT BEING A GIRL"

1.We can wear guys cloths.

    if they wear  fashion and funny cloths.

2.Our friends don't say hello to us by punching us on the arms.

3.Yea-PMS sucks. but at least we have a good excuse to chow down on chocolate for a week.

4.If we're on a really big ship that happens to hit an iceberg, we'll probably get first dibs on a lifeboat.

5. We get the bigger apartment on friends.

6.Girl talk. you know,how we just understand each other without having to explain stuff.

7.We never have to stand at a urinal and have other girls share at us.

8.Dark circles under the eyes? a hickey? we can just cover them up with a little concealer.

9.We dont have to shave our faces.

10.We can jump around a lot and shake our hair and it looks like we know how to move your body.

11.That whole circumcision things!

12.We dont have to dowse  our food in tabasco sauce just to look tough.

13.That whole circumcision thing!

14.When we get married we get to keep our own name or choose one that we like even better.

15.That special bond we have with our moms some day.

tHe One aNgeL

     

           "To express a larger totality of being, we may refer to "a camp of angels". In the general camp of "love", for example, there are many subdivisions, virtually innumerable shades and gradations of tender feeling. No two loves are alike in emotion, just as no two ideas are alike. Thus, any general and inclusive drive or impulse is a whole camp and is not consistently the same at every level. Whereas among human beings emotions change and vary either as persons change or according to the circumstances of time and place, an angel is totally the manifestation of a single emotional essence.

The word for angel means also "messenger". As its name in Hebrew signifies, the nature of the angel is to be an envoy to a degree, thereby constituting a permanent contact between worlds. An angel's missions transpire in two directions: it may serve as an emissary of G-d toward the earthly, and/or it may also serve as the one who carries heavenwards from below, from our world to the higher worlds.

The real difference between man and angel is not the fact that man has a body, because the essential comparison is between the human soul and the angel. The soul of man is most complex and includes a whole world of different existential elements of all kinds, while the angel is a being of single essence and therefore in a sense one dimensional. In addition, man, because of his multi-faceted nature and capacity to contain contradictions (including his gift of an inner power of soul) has the capacity to distinguish between good and evil. It is this ability which makes it possible for him to rise to great heights, and by the same token creates the possibility for his failure and backsliding, neither of which is true for the angel.

The Way We Are

We are one family,
Living on a mountain top.
Feeling rich and happy,
Though we're without much money.

We eat three square meals each day,
Under the sun, moon, and sky,
Need I exaggerate the things we have?
To realize that life should be free,
And wish to live it the way it should be,
Honestly, this is all that I really see

My parents are not yet old today,
Though they will be soon, someday.
So while there is time, I talk to them,
Rather than keep feeling hidden within.

Fatherhas always talked sensibly
Of the value of education, to my brother and me.
Which he and mother missed, unfortunately;
But they have worked hard toward their destiny.
Happy to meet life's challenges bravely.

They work together, ever
Digging plastic botttles, candy wrappers, and soiled pieces of paper
Walking for miles looking for poor man,s gold and silver
To reach and work on stiff cliffs of trash and rubbish
Til they feel numbness of both hands and feet.

The hardships they don't even fear
They just work and live
For me, the daughter called Mountain Girl
And a younger son known as Ocean Boy.

Our ambition to succeed may come
If the family works together, as one
To live peacefully in such a retreat,
Have only hopeful thoughts as we work for our keep.

Our family is blessed with happiness,
With so much love from parents who do care,
Earned as the fruit of hard work
In our home,contentment is enjoyed there.
